These books will be used throughout the year to teach multiple lessons from empathy and compassion to phonics and writing. Research shows that students learn multiple "subjects" from the same book. I plan to utilize these resources all year through read alouds and also independent reading. These books will give my kindergarten students a great foundation to build future learning. Kindergarten students love series sets. When they read one, they want more! It is imperative that they get excited about reading and books at this young age. Kindergarten is a year where children develop an opinion about school and learning. I am committed to helping each child reach their full potential and discover something they are excited about learning!
