Because of space constraints, I have to think outside of the box to help my students have options for where to work. I prefer that they don’t sit on the floor which is sometimes cold or dirty. I don't think rugs are ever clean enough. I think it's important for students to have a choice about where to sit sometimes. Ideally with these soft seats, my students can find a spot, make themselves comfortable, and lose themselves in a book. These soft seats are easily cleaned, and light enough for my little learners to carry. They can each take one soft seat to any spot they choose in our classroom.
