These students spend our mid-morning enrichment/intervention time engaged in learning new reading skills and patterns such as cause and effect, sequencing, compare and contrast, and problem and solution. Because of the time of day, they are often hungry and would benefit from a snack. We want to make every minute of this intervention count, so we want to provide snacks for students to eat on their way into intervention. It is our hope that these students will be recharged and ready to make progress with their reading skills. Because these students are at least two levels below grade, they need to utilize all of the time we are able to give in a high school schedule.

About my class
