I would like to create a makerspace for my K-5 Art Room. A makerspace is a collaborative workspace inside a school, library, or separate public/private facility for making, learning, exploring, and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. I would like to make STEAM bins to create this learning environment for my students. The bins have a range of hands-on, collaborative projects/stations that allow for creative thinking skills and problem-solving. The items needed include blocks, dough, building tools, and more to give students a range of STEAM exposure. We would use the stations at least once a month. There would be about 550 students given the opportunity to use this makerspace. Thank you for your support.
