This First Grade classroom is full of happy, active, and eager to learn 6 and 7 year olds who are looking for more opportunities for flexible seating! Our classroom has a need for more adaptable choices that will support us in getting our bodies ready to learn! These helpful choices for seating will allow us to wobble, bounce, move, and wiggle our bodies while staying focused, calm, and ready for learning. If supplied with these flexible seating tools, students will have the opportunity for movement during a variety of academic lessons- mathematics, reading, writing, phonics, science, and much more! Incorporating movement into daily lessons will increase student's blood and oxygen flow, which positively affects cognitive development. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. We would be grateful for the opportunity to use these flexible tools!
