My students absolutely love using mini-whiteboards during our daily instruction. My students use these during whole group reading instruction and centers to practice word work, handwriting, retelling, and much more! In math, they practice different types of problems. However, because we use these daily, it requires a lot of expo markers and erasers. By using Expo materials, my students are able to easily and quickly show their work, and I can quickly assess students’ by looking at their boards. They can erase their boards and move on to the next problem. These markers and erasers will be used daily and allow my students to have a fun, hands-on experience instead of the basic paper and pencil practice. This will be a more effective, beneficial time-saver for me and my students because immediate feedback will be given as soon as I check their boards. They have more fun writing, and I have more time to work with them rather than grading papers. It’s a win-win!
