My art room is filled with various art materials for students to explore, such as crayons, markers, pastels, yarn, clay, and paint. Works of art from different people, places, and times are on display, as well as art terms and key concepts. Also, students have access to a small library of books about Art and artists. Filled with enough tables and chairs to accommodate up to 45 students at one time, my art room is quite crowded at times. I have a PC, LCD projector, Elmo, and Smartboard for teaching and presenting artistic ideas and techniques. However, my students do not have access to technology for exploring and creating art on their own or in small groups.
