My students students will stay more engaged when they have choices about their learning environment. This will also motivate my kinesthetic learners to stay focused and engaged! This project will provide stools for a table for those kindergarten students that need the space of a table but also the freedom to still move while learning. This helps build community which is important in kindergarten. It helps with sensory input, communication and independent choices! Flexible seating allows my students ownership, responsibility, in a relaxed and open environment with more student-teacher interaction that is productive and improves upon the traditional classroom setting.
