My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in reading. Education is evolving every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Today's teachers need to recognize the importance of visual literacy for the children of the technology generation. Students in my classroom like to read various genres. However, they do not fully comprehend what they have read. With the HP Chromebooks, the technology will enhance literacy capabilities of my students, especially my students with special needs. There's a positive correlation of computer intervention on reading. Technology allows for the creation of new tasks previously inconceivable. The Chromebooks will allow my students to complete significant task designs and act as a direct tool substitute with functional improvement. With the use of integrating technology into my classroom, it will allow my students to activate prior knowledge (making connections). My students will use technology as an assistive tool for acquiring better literacy and reading skills.
