This year I’m looking to trade in my teacher desk for a kidney table! This will give me a constant comfortable area to pull small groups. Up until now, we have just pulled desks together which is time-consuming and it is not convenient to the learning environment. Having this table will help me to comfortably pull groups to work on areas my students struggle in reading comprehension and writing skills. This will also be a good area to have a “teacher-student checkup” area to do conferencing about grades and to graph their benchmark scores and monitor their progress.
