I am building my own classroom library that students can check out books on daily basis. The only way to grow our reading is to read everyday and so having a variety of books to select will motivate my students to read more. I want students to be able to read at least 40 minutes per day. Everyday, students read independently in class and in their choice time. I feel so rewarding when hearing my students sharing things that they have learned from books because I know that they have enjoyed the book so much. The donation to this project will contribute greatly to my classroom library. It also means that you are helping my students to grow their vocabulary, social knowledge, and reading level. With new books, students will feel motivating to read independently at their own grade level. With their interest in independent reading, I believe that my students will continue to grow stronger in reading. My students and I appreciate your consideration and generosity!
