For students to effectively learn a new language, they must be comfortable, secure, and confident with themselves and their space. That's why I'm asking for your help! Flexible seating options and journals give students both an incentive to grind hard, and provides them with a comfortable way to express themselves and reflect on their learning. The sentence strips and adhesive are for a project that I plan to do to bring Spanish to the whole school. We will use these strips to label our entire school from floor to ceiling, giving even those students who are not currently taking my class the opportunity for linguistic and cultural enrichment. The remaining materials will go to make my classroom as warm and inviting as it can be for my students - a place where growth happens and where there is joy in learning.
