In first grade, movement is essential. I use daily stations and math rotations that require lots of student movement. This project will increase student focus, behavior management, and help circulatory blood flow! Movement is essential in the today’s classroom as students often have sensory overload. These flexible seats will help them work comfortably in a safe space at school! I often use station rotations, with flexible seating they will be able to move around and work in a space that’s safe and comfortable for them. Often times, special education students need a comfortable space to work productively. This will help my classroom be more inclusive.
