This project will provide my fourth and fifth grade gifted students the opportunity to code and create innovative projects with micro:bit kits. Students will work individually or with a partner using both the curriculum guide as well as creating their own projects. By donating to this project, you will give my students the opportunity to sharpen their coding skills and creativity, which are both necessary in the 21st century. These micro:bit kits will encourage creativity and invention! Computer Science, Music, Art, and Design Technology are part of the curriculum on the micro:bit website. These are areas where my students thrive! Students will work individually and with a partner programming the micro:bits to perform certain tasks or to invent tasks of their own to code. In our technological world, these kits will provide new experiences for students to explore their particular interest when choosing a project while sharpening their computer skills.
