My creative learners thrive when we have lessons outdoors and in new spaces, and I would love to bring some of the same wonders into our own classroom. In many modern workplaces, employees can request standing desks, but our students, who are bustling with energy, don't often receive the same alternatives to the standard desk and chair. Would you partner with me to offer students flexible, standing workspaces in the classroom? Imagine young, hyperactive students being able to master new skills because they have the space to shift and study without distractions and without distracting others. Imagine giving students a choice in how they learn each day to help them build study skills and strategies that benefit them most.
