Our school provides a safe space for students who couldn't finish school elsewhere, another chance to re-engage on that path and realize the goal they never gave up on; a High School Diploma. To do this, we have created a holistic space that seeks to remove common barriers to attendance. Did you know that not having clean clothes is one of the biggest barriers to school attendance? Can you imagine if you couldn't come to school because you couldn't wash your clothes? It kind of makes sense, if you think about it; laundry takes time and money and when both of those things are in short supply, well.....it gets in the way of education. It is our goal, in our second year, to provide access to free laundry for students at our school. We need your help to raise $1600 to buy a Washer and Dryer for our space. Will you help us remove this #1 barrier to accessing free public education?
