My students love flexible seating options; they are more engaged and on task when they are NOT at their desks! I have purchased yoga balls and rolling chairs second hand, and these are a hit in my classroom. I purchased a soft and cozy carpet last year, which students love to sit on on using milk crates with pillows. When students are excited about their learning, our classroom turns into a magical space! My students would be so excited to use the Flex-Space Comfy Floor seats from Lakeshore Learning during group and independent learning! I love that the seat backs can be adjusted for different students and can be stored in a flat position. My favorite part of these seats is that the covers can be removed and washed! Fourth graders can be very messy in their learning!
