Having a classroom library with excellent titles in it will help me foster a love of reading in my students. Encouraging students to be readers is an ongoing process, and they must have interesting options that will engage them. These wonderful books will do just the trick! There is such a variety, so hopefully there will be something that appeals to everyone! Many students do not get encouragement from home to become readers, so I want to make sure they get that encouragement in my classroom. Although students will have the opportunity to visit the school library, they won't always have that option, since the library ends up being used for multiple purposes. So having great books right in the classroom will help them have more of a chance to read. Several of these titles are beloved memories of mine. I want my students to have the chance to love them, too! I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to get these books donated to my classroom. I can't wait to see them in the hands of my students!
