Everything my students and I receive already has a home in the classroom. My goal this year is to make sure my students feel at home while in our classroom. I want my classroom to be vibrant, positive and extra colorful so it can reflect onto everyones mood inside the classroom. I am striving to teach the students through positivity, a growth mindset, and academic ownership. While doing this, I want every student in the classroom to feel comfortable and feel happiness. Each one of my students has a different story and they all need extra loving, support, and trust within this classroom. Having classroom supplies that make my students strive to succeed not only makes my life brighter, it makes their's brighter too! We will be learning a lot of second grade math, and reading this year! My students are on a level 2 reading level (for most books) but LOVE a challenge so we love every kind of book. My students will benefit from the resources given in SO many ways. There will be a huge sense of community while starting our day by sharing on the rug!!
