This classroom rug will provide students with another option for flexible seating during independent work times as well as provide each student with a designated space during our morning meetings and whole group lessons. When the classroom climate and culture are welcoming and supportive, students are more focused and motivated. This rug will help our culture and climate in the classroom by ensuring that our daily morning meetings and whole group lessons in math and reading have a place to be conducted where each student has a designated space and feels comfortable and welcomed to share and participate during discussions.

About my class
