A subscription to Scholastic's News will be an invaluable resource for my students. It is important for children to be in touch with what is happening in the world around us. Using Scholastic's News during library time will provide my students with a way to keep in touch with current events. They will be able to access informational text in a fun, interesting and engaging way. My students need current events resources at their reading level so they can make connections to the world around them. These subscriptions will be used with grades 3-5 students in our school library. With this subscription, our students will have access to extra resources to help them understand information text. They need to be able to read informational texts and make connections- and this donation can make that possible!
