These class sets of books will help my students by helping them formulate their own perspective on history from primary sources in African American history. This is an elective, and my students will use these materials to read, analyze, and formulate their own opinions on the topics that are discussed in each of the books. The books will also be used for classroom discussions that will promote collaborative learning and a social dialogue on the topics that are talked about in the books As of now, we do not have ANY materials for this class, and these two books will be a great help.
