Students' basic needs must be met before they can focus on attending school and learning. As a teenager, it can be embarrassing to find oneself in need of deodorant in the middle of a school day, without having it available. Therefore, having access to these basics necessities can help students in need, feel more comfortable at school every day. By meeting students’ needs, we hope to help boosts the self-esteem of students, so they’re able to focus on their education. Additionally, research have shown that lack of access to basic necessities is one of the top reasons for absenteeism; so this could help to motivate students to attend school.

About my class
