All math students are expected to be able to graph functions; whether they be simple lines or sine graphs. Being able to visualize the graph helps an Algebra student conceptualize and understand so their mathematics has meaning. Since we will be doing remote learning at this time, I would like students to be able to graph and share their results with me and their classmates. A dry erase board will allow students to graph and then share their results with me or their group in a breakout room. They can quickly identify critical points, as well as easily correct any errors. The boards will allow a clear visual whereas paper graphs are difficult to share on screens. This will be of great help to my special needs students.
