Students often get bored with the same old routine, lackluster materials, and outdated textbooks. Using a variety of resources keeps students' attention and excitement for learning. Scholastic magazines have a great online component that further differentiates how learning can take place. Not all students learn in the same way and this just adds another tool to keep learning fresh and exciting. Scholastic Magazines bring in important real-world​ connections that students will experience outside of the classroom. They are colorful and have pictures that spark questions and discussions that may not be on the lesson plan but are great teaching moments. Sometimes the best learning and teaching happens when we take a left turn and see where it leads us.
