By attending the "Get Your Teach On" Conference, I will be gaining engaging instructional strategies to bring back and implement in my classroom. I want learning to be fun for students and I want to be able to create experiences for them that help the content stick. This conference will provide various ideas from educators across the nation who have implemented the ideas in their own classrooms. I will also receive resources from the presenters to be able to easily take back to my classroom to implement. Students need to see that learning can, and should be, fun! I want them to look back on their time in my math classroom and remember the content learned, but to also remember the experiences when learning the content. This conference will provide me with ways to engage my students while still providing them with the rigor they need to be successful outside of the school walls.
