My students love to work outside of their desks, have a comfy inviting carpet will give them the freedom and space so work comfortably where they can do their best work! The document camera will be used to project materials, workbooks, reading passages etc. onto the board for students to follow along with. Students at this age need constant modeling to become independent workers. With the camera I can show math calculations and examples right from their workbooks, I can model science experiments so the whole class can see! Read alouds focusing on specific comprehension strategies can be highlighted so students aren’t straining eyes to see the text. The possibilities are endless!
