I have numerous students who find it unbearable to sit for long periods of time. Some have sensory impairments, and need to be moving or touching something at all times. While they are a smart bunch, they lose their ability to focus when they are not moving or do not have something sensory related to manipulate. Having flexible seating would provide an engaging environment that allows them to move at their seats as well as give them a seat they enjoy being in. This would tremendously improve their stamina and behavior on a daily basis. Please help me make this possible for my littles!
