Who doesn't enjoy a healthy drink, a cup of cocoa, and popcorn? 5th graders love special drinks and snacks. These supplies will boost morale, praise positive behavior, and encourage students to work hard on their reading goals. The supplies will be used to create drinks and treats for 5th graders to reinforce positive choices and reading time. Free reading time can be the best part of the day for students or unfortunately, the worst time of the day for 5th graders. This reading corner will make these experiences even more rememberable! Students will look forward to the reading corner and will be excited to make good choices for the possible opportunity of a special treat or snack. I can picture these experiences in our class reading corner being something my students will treasure for years!
