The materials I have asked for will give my students an unforgettable Glow Day experience. During Glow Day students will practice math and reading skills by playing standard driven glow games and tasks, all while having fun! Glow Day provides students with a hands-on, engaged, and fun learning experience. The classroom is set up with black lights and stations that students will rotate through in teams. Students will practice sharpening their math and reading skills by solving problems and completing given tasks at each station. Once a problem or task is solved correctly, students take turns playing the game or activity at the station. In addition to a valuable learning experience, students use teamwork to complete the given tasks at each station. This helps to build relationships in the classroom. Students will learn that when they work together, strengths and weaknesses balance out in the best way.
