With these materials, I can teach my students about the importance of clean water, plants, and animal life cycles. Pets in the classroom allow students to have real-life experiences and are proven to help students with social-emotional issues. With this aquarium and materials, we will raise and care for African Dwarf Frogs starting at the tadpole stage. The students will be responsible for feeding and caring for these animals which will foster a sense of responsibility as well as pride and excitement. With these materials, this will be a project that encourages my students learning for years to come through their reuse.
