Our class is usually full to the limit, meaning 32 or more students. It can get a little bit cramped as students sit at shared tables with little to no room for personal storage. Seat sacks are a great way to give students a place to put their book baggies, folders, and other small personal items. They go right on the backs of their chairs, stay relatively flat and out of the way, and help students learn organizational skills--something all second graders need. I've used seat sacks like this in the past, and they always work well. They also keep roaming around the classroom to a minimum, as students can grab most of what they need right behind them. Please help us out!
