My students will be given tasks/projects to do throughout the school year. Students will have to do individual and or group projects. The materials, I selected are needed to complete these projects. Many of my students will depend on the materials I have readily available for them. Some of the materials I am asking for will be used daily in the classroom to foster a better understanding of the math skills I will teach. Previous data revealed, students that are engaged in hands-on activities related to a skill are more likely to retain the information learned. That is what is learning is about.
