With my students having individualized assignments we still use paper and pencil to work on certain skills. We also focus on real life applications that the students will face once they graduate from school. Having the document camera in the class will allow the students to show off there creative thoughts, and give them the opportunity to teach each other new skills they have learned. The document camera will be able to project the paper assignment to the smart board so the whole class can see. Students get to reinforce there skills and knowledge by being able to teach one another. By donating, you will allow my students to have the opportunity to build skills that go beyond the classroom. They will build confidence from teaching the class, they will learn respect while others are using the document camera, and it is another engaging way to keep the students focused on learning in new ways. I myself, and the students in my class would appreciate your support to help make this possible.
