Having access to the QBall will give my students an opportunity to start using their little voices to communicate with me and their classmates in a fun, but educational setting. Coming from different countries, sometimes these students have a hard time speaking in a new country, where everything is strange to them. The QBall also will help my students with their social emotional development as it assists in acquiring and maintaining positive relationships with adults and peers. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their oral communication and academic achievement. We are also looking to add some age appropriate leveled reading books to our classroom library and some kindergarten "wider-grip" pencils that will be easier for the students to manipulate. Students, especially at this early age, need access to books that are interesting to them and also age appropriate.
