About my class

The Amazon Echo will be a helpful assistant in the classroom. The students will be able to ask Alexa useful questions. The students will be able to ask Alexa how to spell a word, what the date is, help with tough math problems, and so much more. The students can use Alexa to help with research projects as they search the internet for more information. Alexa will provide definitions, antonyms, and synonyms to use in their writing. The Amazon echo will bring much needed modern technology into the classroom. It will allow timers to be set, music to be played, dice to be rolled, coins to be flipped; as well as help students with math, speech, look up information and literacy. My students would love to have an Amazon Echo Dot with a remote and Bluetooth speaker in our classroom for research and to ask miscellaneous questions. We would also use the Echo to intercom other classrooms with Echo Dots, play music while students are working, and play games for indoor recess.
