What better way to provide students hands-on learning experiences than using STEAM projects? STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) projects allow students to use their minds, hands, and imaginations to solve problems and make creations of their own. It also allows students to work with their fellow classmates, learning from one another and building relationships. With these STEAM materials, I plan to create bins and directives, allowing students to work with them in the mornings (replacing regular morning work) as well as after they have completed their classroom work. I will rotate our materials, creating new learning directives and chances for students to interact with them in different, meaningful ways.
