Our students spend much of their time in the resource classroom receiving extra instruction, tutoring, or dyslexia interventions. Currently, the students use individual desks to complete tasks or work with the teacher. Activity tables will allow us to use hands-on activities to engage the students and scaffold their learning. Specifically, these tables will allow us to provide group instruction for our dyslexic students, or they will allow us to get creative with hands-on activities and games. They will also allow us to use group activities to ignite the student's creativity! Students will also be able to work independently on a more spacious surface than an individual desk allows.
