At the primary level, lessons need to be engaging and most importantly interactive. The Mimio interactive whiteboard will provide both of these things. This will provide my students with daily opportunities to learn through the use of this interactive technology. The Mimio will allow me to create interactive lessons and collaborative activities to use with my students. It will also provide real-time formative assessments that I can use to monitor and adjust my lessons. I will be able to use other technology that is my classroom to connect to the Mimio. I will be able share a combination of the students' work on the whiteboard so they have the opportunity to learn from each other. Students will receive greater collaborative and cooperative learning by the use of this technology. I will be able to receive a more in-depth understanding of my students' comprehension which aid student success.
