I would like to expand my students' knowledge of real-world events by using a subscription to TIME for Kids. This magazine provides nonfiction reading stories that will not only help my students learn about their world, but will also provide valuable skills needed to be successful readers. My students will use this subscription on a weekly basis to enhance their reading skills. This subscription also provides online activities to enhance reading skills. There are whiteboard activities that will engage students and also videos that will provide meaningful lessons to students who come from a rural area where many struggles financially.
