Visual dividers will give clear boundaries in where students do each type of learning activity, as well as cut down on behaviors and distractions. Sensory materials are needed to improve behavior and learning, as well as provide a calming environment for students. Social skills is a hard area for students with autism, and games are proven to be a fun and engaging way to learn to apply social skills they were taught through direct instruction. These items will continue to benefit students in the self contained room for years. Thank you for helping me help my students reach their full potential!
