Every day my students come into class and we sit down and begin writing our daily journals. My main priority is to inspire creativity by having the students actively reading and writing every single day. If they can relate to what they are reading and writing, everything changes and true education can begin. This book will help me to relate to the students and their personal struggles while showing them the power of reading. So many of them have not read one full novel and I want to change the mentality that reading is boring and open up their eyes to the world of literature.
