As an adult, I'm sure you have found sitting in a long meeting tiresome. You struggle to focus as the presenter drones on, and no matter how many times they try to engage you, all you can think about is "when can I get up and move?" Imagine then, what it must be like for a child who struggles to sit still every school day. Many of my students need the option to rock, wiggle, and move while they work. I have seen first hand the difference rocking chairs make for my students, and I know from personal experience how the option of moving enhances learning. Thank you from all my students for your interest in their success in school!
