Books are extremely helpful tools to expand your knowledge, explore the experience of others, and connect to someone, even if they're fictional. They provide insight in an intimate way that many children and adolescence fear discussing. While I talk daily with my students about various fields of mental health, some are not ready to speak or want more than I can provide during the school day. This library will reach out to students in need and educate their teachers about what they are going through. This is just the start of an ever-growing collection of resources for students and teachers. Teachers will be able to learn more about the various struggles and adversity our students face in order to provide a better teaching environment and connection to the kids. My hope is to continue fighting the stigma of mental health in every way I can.
