We know that hands-on lessons is key part of the learning processfor elementary students, especially those with special needs. When a physical disability stops a student from using pencils and other writing tools and small manipulatives are a struggle, teachers have to find a solution. These easy to grasp stamps and letter blocks mean my students can focus on the concept they are learning and not their fingers. These tools mean that my students can fully engage in lessons with their peers without an adult. This is immensely important for student confidence, independence and social skills.
