Studies show that plants in workspaces help reduce stress, increase productivity, help reduce sickness and absences, make the space more attractive, boosts creativity and cleans the air! All of those benefits can directly impact a group of 60+ children and their families. This next school year, as a 5th grade English teacher and grade level lead, I am hoping to create a stronger sense of community culture within the school and outside of it, with families. One great way to begin this journey is by creating a space that feels positive, warm and nurturing and that all families would love to revisit to learn and grow!

About my class
