Science is a way for students' to develop across the curriculum and experience new and exciting things. What's better then a book that introduces the curriculum and ignites the curiosity of Science Project Based Learning. Building a reading library allows students the opportunity to inquiry and investigate information that may help them understand the why or why not in a phenomenon. The NGSS standards focus on the phenomenon and use it as part of the driving force to build knowledge across the curriculums. The library setup is for students to read and create designs that correlate with their stories. The students will present their knowledge through writing used from the text, role play, and many more. The library services as a meeting place for groups to discuss the components of their readers and how they will bring their stories to life. Giving students a setting they can call their own facilitates ownership and drives independent learning.
