My students will use these special seats on a daily basis. They will get to choose which seat will meet their needs and get an opportunity to change if they need to. It will help them be more responsible for their learning and more responsible for keeping items taken care of. The seats will give different types of choices that will be more comfortable than a typical hard chair. I have seen students in the past wiggle and move around, which disrupts their learning. They aren't able to concentrate on what is being taught to them. Then they can't apply their knowledge if they didn't pickup the entire lesson. There will be strict expectations with seats and consequences for those that do not follow the expectations.
