When I walked into my classroom I was shocked that the room was so small and needs to accommodate 27 kids. I am a new teacher to the district and that means I get left overs. There is no way I can utilize what I have (desks with attached chairs) where the students will be comfortable and feel at home. I need tables and chairs and some flex seating. I need to be able to accommodate the learners so that they will feel right at home and be open to learning. It helps set a "family" tone when they are comfortable. I cannot even walk around the room and be organized with what I have at my disposal, I have tried! I moved these desks so many times but it became very clear on the 10th move I need tables or flex seating of some sorts!!
