Do you remember as a kid being excited about summer break? Well I do, but unfortunately not all of my students feel the same way. Without their friends, structures of school, and new and exciting opportunities, summer can be scary and unknown. But with your help we can change their outlook on summer and make it fun and educational for the whole family. Our school will be providing summer fun bags to each of our Head Start families. These bags will include puzzles, art supplies, and games. By donating to our project you will be providing new games for our children to play over the summer which will help them continue to learn things like color and number recognition, counting, social skills and allow them to spend quality time with their families. I know that the work we do during the school year is so important but I want to make sure our students can continue to learn over the summer so they are ready to return to Kindergarten in the Fall ready to conquer the world. With your help and our summer fun bags, we will make sure that every one of our students is excited about summer and prepared for the school adventures to come!
